Moving house

Hello, this is Harikiri-Mama!

I recently moved to a new house. It’s only 5 minutes away from our previous one and a 10-minute walk to school. We’re delighted because the kitchen is wider now, giving us more opportunities to cook.

The moving was like this picture below. It was RM200 for one truck and 3 moving service people.

We were quite tired from packing our stuff and had some trouble, we were having unbalanced diet days.

Bak Kut Teh

So I will introduce a Malaysian cuisine that is best for recovering from fatigue. It’s called “Bak Kut Teh". it is Chinese soup dish that cooked with pork ribs and Chinese herbs and spices. The most popular Bak Kut Teh shop in Kampar is here, 明珠 Restoran Ming Chow.

Whenever there are lots of customers. It is loved by almost all the people in the Kampar.
This day was also full of people and there were people waiting for the seats.

Bak Kut Teh is cooked with variety of spices and it has unique Chinese medicine taste. But this shop’s bak kut teh doesn’t have strong taste and yet it has rich taste. This shop is the best Bak Kut Teh we have ever eaten!

Make sure to pour the soup on the rice and eat!

The main dish is pork rib and there are mushroom and dried tofu toppings for optional order. And we ordered lettuce salad for side dish which was also good taste. I recommend to put garlic to the soup.

It’s RM26 for two people with tea.

This uncle looks calm and quiet but will smile to us when I talk to him.

We miss this delicious bak kut teh so much.
